Use planners without a connection

What you can do offline, and how your work syncs when you reconnect.

For team membersApp2 min read

Planners you've opened recently are saved on your device, so you can still view them if you lose signal. A banner tells you when you're viewing a saved copy and how up to date it is.

What works offline

  • Viewing saved planners and their tasks.
  • Checking off tasks. Changes are saved on your device and sent when you reconnect.

Some things need a connection, such as opening forms, loading evidence images and downloading attached files. The app tells you when an action needs you to reconnect.

Syncing

The app shows how many changes are waiting on your device. When you're back online, they sync automatically and you'll see a confirmation.

Important

Don't clear the app's data or uninstall the app while changes are waiting to sync. Anything not yet sent would be lost. If a change can't sync, it stays on your device. Contact support before clearing anything.

Tip

Before heading somewhere with poor coverage, open the planners you'll need while you still have signal, so they're saved to your device.

Can't find what you need? Ask your organization's administrator, or contact support from the Help page in the app.
