Fixes for the most common planner problems.

I can't mark a task complete

Something the task depends on isn't finished. Check for required forms, unverified criteria or controls, a required task photo, or an earlier prerequisite task. If a task is limited to certain people, you may not be one of them. Ask your supervisor. See Complete tasks.

I can't submit the planner

Every task needs an outcome. Look at the progress line to see how many remain, then complete them or record why they couldn't be done.

I can't create an assignment

Add at least one task first. Safety Planners also need at least one risk. Shared completion is only available for Task Planners with open-ended assignments.

I can't create or edit a planner

Creating, copying and saving planner definitions needs administrator permission. Ask your organization's administrator.

A form isn't in the list when I attach it to a task

Only published forms marked as Planner forms can be attached. Open the form, turn on Planner Form on the Settings tab, and make sure it's published.

The planner is read-only

Completed and cancelled planners can be reviewed but not changed. If you're offline, you may be viewing a saved copy. Reconnect to make changes other than task check-offs.
