What is a Log-It?
A photo-based record of something you saw, found or did, with follow-up built in.
A Log-It is a photo-based record. Take photos, mark them up, describe what you see, and make sure the right people know about it.
Log-Its in different industries
- A damaged handrail on a stairway.
- A leak under a sink in a guest room.
- A finished installation, photographed for the customer.
- A blocked emergency exit.
- A defect found on a batch of parts.
What a Log-It holds
| Part | What it's for |

| Photos | One or more images, each with markup and its own comments. |
| Description | What the Log-It is about. |
| Job and labels | Where it happened and how to find it later. |
| Comments | Notes on each image. Their severity decides who's notified. |
| People with access | Who can see, comment on or edit it. |
| Status | Where follow-up has got to. |
Status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Open | Raised and waiting for someone to pick it up. |
| Assigned | Someone is responsible for it. |
| In Progress | Being worked on. |
| On Hold | Paused, for example waiting for parts. |
| Resolved | Fixed, waiting to be confirmed. |
| Closed | Finished. |
Where Log-Its come from
